The minimum system requirements for Everest High-Speed Internet service are:
PC Compatible
- Windows 98* (Windows 2000/XP Recommended)
- 32 Megabytes of RAM (256M Recommended)
- 233Mhz Processor (900Mhz or faster Recommended)
- 100 Megabytes of available hard disk space
- CD-ROM Drive
*Windows 95 support will be on a best effort basis and the computer must have a functional Ethernet adapter installed.
Macintosh
- MacOS 8.6** (MacOS X 10.1 Recommended)
- 32 Megabytes of RAM (256M Recommended)
- 200Mhz PPC Processor (600Mhz G3 or faster Recommended)
- 100 Megabytes of available hard disk space
- CD-ROM Drive
- Ethernet
**MacOS versions prior to 8.6 will be on a best effort basis and the computer must have a functional Ethernet adapter installed
The Trailblazer service is also compatible with Linux, FreeBSD, Solaris, and other Unix operating systems. Installation of Trailblazer service for these operating systems will only include hookup of the cable modem. All PC software and hardware changes will be the responsibility of the customer.
